Overage explained

No surprise charges. Ever.

If you sell more warranties than your plan includes, a small overage fee applies per extra sale. You're never blocked from selling, and we'll suggest an upgrade only when it would save you money.

Counted by sale

Each warranty added to a customer order counts as one sale. Cancellations and refunds within 14 days don't count.

Capped automatically

When overage charges reach the next plan's price, we automatically pause overage and recommend upgrading. No accidental large bills.

Always profitable

Overage rate is 0.3–0.8% of typical warranty price. You keep 99%+ of revenue even on overage sales.

Is the Starter plan actually free?
Yes. The Starter plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get 3 warranty plans, 30 sales per month, the product page widget, and email support. Upgrade only when you outgrow the limits — there's no trial expiration.
How am I charged for paid plans?
All paid plans are billed through the Shopify Billing API, monthly, in USD. The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice alongside other Shopify subscriptions. No separate payment method, no setup fees, no annual contracts.
What counts as one warranty sale?
Each warranty added to a customer order counts as one sale. If a customer buys two products with a warranty each, that's two sales. Cancelled or refunded warranties within 14 days don't count toward your monthly limit.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
You keep selling — nothing breaks. Each sale above your monthly allowance is billed at the overage rate listed on your plan ($0.10–$0.25 per sale). When your overage approaches the next plan's price, we'll prompt you to upgrade so it costs less.
Can I cancel or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Cancel or downgrade from the Warranly admin or directly in Shopify. There are no cancellation fees and no prorations. Warranties you've already sold remain valid for your customers — your obligation to honor them doesn't change when you cancel.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. 14-day money back on new paid subscriptions — no questions asked. After that, monthly charges are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime and you won't be charged again. Email [email protected] for refund requests.
Do you take a percentage of warranty sales?
Never. Flat monthly pricing, no revenue share, no per-claim fees, no transaction percentage. Whatever you charge customers for warranties stays with you in full. The overage rate (max $0.25 per sale) is the only variable cost, and it's a tiny fraction of typical warranty prices.
What if I'm on Shopify Plus?
Plus stores typically pick the Scale plan ($199/mo) for unlimited sales, Shopify Flow integration, CRM connections, and a dedicated account manager. But you can also use any other plan on Plus — choose what matches your warranty volume.
